Dream Codec (2024)

Mixed media installation: acrylic paint, LED lights, glass mosaic, fluorescent powder, neon markers on canvas 100 x 150 cm

A large-scale mixed media work exploring the intersection of childhood memories and dream states. The piece transforms personal nocturnal recollections into a visual language through repetitive numerical patterns and illuminated elements. The composition juxtaposes cool purples against warm yellows and oranges, while strategically placed LED lights create depth and dimensionality.

The recurring "2" motif serves as a dream cipher, while fluorescent elements and glass mosaic fragments catch and reflect light, suggesting the fragmentary nature of memory. The work's scale (100 x 150 cm) allows viewers to be immersed in this dreamscape, where illuminated sections emerge from darker realms, mimicking the way memories surface from the subconscious.

This installation continues my exploration of memory architecture, utilizing light as both medium and metaphor. The piece invites viewers to decode their own childhood remembrances through its layered, luminous landscape.
